Black tea is fermented leaves of the Chinese tea tree Camelia Sinensis or the Indian tea tree Camelia Assamnica
It makes Oolong tea, Green tea and White tea also. The difference lies in the manufacturing process and the fermentation. Black tea is fermented (in fermentation) from 50 to 95%, the green tea is fermented only 8 to 30%, oolong tea 30 to 50%.
It is through the fermentation process, te'en gets its distinctive taste, in conjunction with soil conditions at the growing site.
