Wu Dong "Ba Xian" Dan Cong Oolong Tea organic

Ba Xian is a special kind of tea tree Camelia Sinensis, because it has 53 different aromatic molecules in itself. It grows naturally without the use of fertilizer and without the use of pesticides, using chicken fattened mixed leaves as "vitamins to the ground".

The taste is strong with an up-front bitterness which rapidly falls into a fruit and flower in the air, as it has a tone of white magnolia (白玉兰 香) flavor to it.

Wu Dong "Ba Xian" Dan Cong Oolong Tea Organic

"Ba Xian", also known as eight immortal Dan Cong, grows in a few villages (Phoenix, Ping Keng Tou and Zhong Shan) in the Wu Dong mountains of Guangdong province, typically at an altitude of 500-700 meters. The original eight plants of this kind date back to the Song Dynasty. Of the original eight plants, only one survived, and it was from this "mother" plant (now called F1) that "Ba Xian" survived and spread. For this reason, it is also called "Ba Xian Guo Hai". Today, Ba Xian grows only in a few villages (in the Wu Dong Mountains), but is not mass-produced
